City Hall announces public entrance policy

To enhance security measures and ensure the safety of all visitors and employees, the City of Arkansas City announces changes to the public entrance policy at the City Hall building, 118 W. Central Ave.

Beginning Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, the City Hall building will have only two designated public entrances:

1. Main Entrance on Central Avenue: Visitors are encouraged to use the main entrance located on Central Avenue for general access to the City Hall Building.

2. Handicapped entrance on the north side of the building The handicapped entrance, situated on the north side of the building, will also serve as a public entrance. This entrance is equipped with elevator access.

The door on the west side, nearest to the corner of First Street and Central Avenue, and the door in the alleyway on the east side of the building will be locked and designated solely for employee use.
